Hyperbaric Spread

This is a hyperbaric welding spread being deployed from a
DSV. This spread enables welding to be performed underwater.

Mattress Installation

This is a concrete mattress being lowered to the seabed.
Concrete mattresses are used to protect and stabilise pipelines/umbilicals.

DSV at platform complex

Diving Support Vessel (DSV) on location at southern
Northsea platfrom complex.

Pipelay

This shows a pipeline being installed from a reel vessel
alongside a Northsea platform.

Pipeline Plough

This shows a pipeline plough being deployed from a DSV.
The plough is used to dig a trench for a pipeline to protect it from
fishing gear.

Well Spudding

When a well is first spudded the gas/oil is initially
flared until the flow from the well is stabilised.
