QCL is able to provide the following services:
Conceptual Design.
QCL can provide conceptual designs of subsea field
developments. Typically this will involve assessment of field
development options, key engineering calculations, project risk
assessment and recommendation of the most cost effective and technically
viable option(s). Conceptual design is a key part of the design
development process.
FEED.
Front End Engineering design is a key factor to the success of a
project. FEED is the process of honing down the selected option and
performing sufficient engineering in define the requirements of the
design, construction and installation contracts. Well considered and
effective technical definition of the subsea facilities will greatly
enhance the quality of the development and minimise cost overruns. This
activity can include the preparation of functional specifications and
the scope of work.
Detailed Design.
The detailed design phase is usually a very busy part
fo a project, QCL can provide engineering expertise and support, design
review and hazop participation, risk assessments, high-level planning
and project management.
Construction and Pre-commissioning.
During the construction and
commissioning phases, QCL can provide construction expertise and
support, which can include construction management, pre-commissioning
management, procedure preparation and risk assessments.
